The Mobility Master simplifies the management of multiple Aruba controllers running ArubaOS 8 or later. Key features include a centralized dashboard to easily see and manage controllers, configuration hierarchy to customize deployments for various sites, and live firmware and feature upgrades to improve network reliability during active user sessions. The addition of licensing pools simplifies the transfer of licenses between different controllers to quickly address expanded deployment needs.
The Mobility Master also serves a key role in Dynamic Segmentation, providing a single management layer for all controllers acting as policy enforcement agents.
It also supports the latest Wi-Fi Alliance standards, including Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), WPA3 and Enhanced Open—in addition to existing 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ad standards. It also supports AI-powered RF optimization technologies like AirMatch and ClientMatch—which can now support 802.11ax grouping and bidirectional MU-MIMO awareness.
Organizations with existing Aruba 802.11ac Wave 2 APs can also support WPA3 and Enhanced Open security when clients support it.
A unique feature called MultiZone enables organizations to deploy multiple distinct and secure networks using the same access point (AP) infrastructure – ideal for multi-tenant operations.
Hardware and virtual appliance options make it easy to build and manage networks that support up to 100,000 clients, 10,000 network devices, or 1,000 Mobility Controllers (hardware and virtual formfactors).
24/7 networking with utility-grade reliability
With clustering for up to 12 controllers that can then act as a single unit, the Mobility Master allows for live upgrades and seamless failover to eliminate network downtime – either for scheduled maintenance or unplanned outages.
Dynamic Segmentation for simplicity and security
Each 7200 series enforces granular user, device and application policies over both access points and network switches alike – eliminating the need to configure separate VLANs, ACLs and subnets.
AI-powered controls for improved WLAN experiences
AirMatch™ AirMatch applies machine-learning to automate RF optimization and adapt to changing WLAN conditions while ClientMatch improves client roaming and resolves sticky client issues.
